Currently, the most effective way to fight allergies is immunotherapy – also called desensitization – which allows to completely remove allergies in a significant proportion of cases.
It consists in administering properly selected, gradually increased concentration of allergen and then the maintenance dose of a vaccine containing the allergen. Desensitization begins with a visit to the allergist, MD Barbara Sieradzka.
