Take advantage of the services provided by experts in neurology and pediatric neurology. Our team includes outstanding neurologists, EEG technicians, and therapists. Collaboration among specialists allows us to provide holistic patient care and ensure more effective diagnosis and treatment.
At our medical center, we use state-of-the-art methods for detecting neurological conditions, such as electroencephalography (EEG) during both sleep and wakefulness, as well as video electroencephalography. Next-generation equipment enables highly accurate testing.
At MediPark, we prioritize comprehensive care. We understand that treating children’s neurological diseases requires support in many areas, which is why we offer patients, among others, physiotherapy, sensory integration, speech therapy, and psychological therapy.
Neurological treatment and diagnostic testing for children require a special approach. Our doctors and other specialists have experience working with our youngest patients, ensuring that the visit is not a stressful event for them.
One of the most common methods for diagnosing disorders of the central nervous system is electroencephalography (EEG). It is used to detect and monitor the course of epilepsy. It also allows for the diagnosis of other issues such as autism, dizziness and headaches, occurrence of tics, fainting, loss of consciousness, or conditions following head injuries.
Electroencephalography involves placing electrodes on the patient’s head, which are responsible for recording brain activity. Subsequently, an analysis of the electromagnetic waves resulting from its bioelectrical activity is conducted. In our medical center, we perform electroencephalographic examinations in three states: wakefulness, sleep, and REM sleep.

Video electroencephalography examination involves the simultaneous recording of the brain’s bioelectrical activity and a video image of the patient’s behavior. It is particularly helpful in diagnosing neurological disorders in children, such as drug-resistant epilepsy or seizure states (tics, episodes of affective apnea, night-time anxiety).
We understand the importance of handling children with empathy and delicacy, as a visit to the doctor’s office can be quite stressful for them. Examinations at the MediPark Medical Center are conducted by experienced technicians who excel in their approach to our youngest patients.
Neurological therapy plays a crucial role in restoring the full functionality of the nervous system. It is particularly important for children, as the presence of neurologically-based diseases can cause certain deficits. At MediPark, we offer comprehensive therapeutic services for children of all ages—from infants to school-aged children.
Neurodevelopmental therapy using the Vojta method is the most popular type of neurorehabilitation. Its initiation is preceded by a thorough patient diagnosis. It can be applied to children of any age, although it yields the best results in infants. The therapy involves restoring lost motor patterns in young children caused by disease through the stimulation of specific parts of the body. It is used as a form of rehabilitation for children suffering from cerebral palsy, limb paresis, as well as after orthopedic surgeries. This type of rehabilitation can only be conducted by qualified therapists.
Rehabilitation is based on general strengthening exercises aimed at maintaining physical fitness, increasing muscle strength, strengthening bones, improving mobility, and enhancing balance and motor coordination.
Physiotherapy is conducted by: M.A. Sławomir Rolka, M.A. Wojciech Matej
A discipline within speech therapy that focuses on diagnosing and treating speech disorders in children and adults resulting from diseases or damage to the central nervous system.
Neurologic speech therapy is conducted by: M.A. Kamila Jarocka
A type of therapy aimed at improving the emotional and motor functioning of children. The sensory integration process involves exposing young children to sensory stimulation in controlled environments and teaching the brain to properly perceive and respond to stimuli.
Sensory integration therapy is conducted by: M.A. Wojciech Matej, M.A. Emilia Skoneczko
Psychological support is very important in treating disorders of the nervous system. Psychological therapy helps patients who struggle with psychological issues (e.g., anxiety or depression) with a neurological basis.
Psychological consultations are conducted by: M.A. Izabella Kurzajewska, M.A. Anna Ostasz, M.A. Emilia Skoneczko
